KVS™ KMIP Server Protocol Verification Suite
KVS™ provides provides a test bed by which to verify your KMIP servers OASIS KMIP protocol conformance.
  • Royalty Free License
  • Available for Linux™
Please contact our sales team if you have any questions.
KVS™ implements the OASIS KMIP Standard test cases used to judge KMIP protocol conformance and interoperability.
KVS implements more than 680 test cases for each separate KMIP message encoding (HTTPS/TTLV/JSON/XML) for a total of more than 2500 test cases. For a list of test cases please go to the Test Cases Tab.
  • OASIS KMIP 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 2.0 and 2.1 standard test cases
  • 2900+ test cases
  • Extensive protocol logging
  • Powerful CLI integrates easily with CI tools
  • Easily scriptable
KVS provides a simple and powerful command line interface that easily integrates with CI tools and scripts. List all tests, run a single test case, multiple, or all test cases easily.
Extensive protocol logging is provided in addition to test case logging, providing complete logging of each protocol interaction. Protocol interactions can be logged in in any of three formats: TTLV, JSON or XML.

Supported Platforms

KVS™ currently runs on the following platforms:

  • Linux x86 Kernel 2.6+ (64bit)
Distributions with OpenSSL 1.1x+ required for "Suite B" tests to pass.
The KVS Server SDK follows the standards defined in these documents.
The OASIS Key management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) defines a single, comprehensive protocol for communication between encryption systems and a broad range of new and legacy enterprise applications, including email, databases, and storage devices. Go to OASIS Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) Technical Committee to learn more about the KMIP standard.
